There’s not much to read here, but if you really want to know… I was born in Virginia but spent all of my formative years in the great state of North Carolina. For college I went to N.C. State and started rooting for the Wolfpack. Four years later, I ended up walking across a stage with a Chemistry degree in hand, but when it was time to put that degree to use and get a job, I ended up in Seattle, exploring life, faith and purpose with a bunch of folks from YWAM. A few months in Seattle, a couple months in India, and then I ended up in Boston pursuing a Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. In 2004, a few friends and I thought it would be a cool idea to start a new church in Boston. So with God’s help, we did. And it is still a dream come true to be the pastor of that church today.
Now to more interesting stuff. I “married up” to Esther in 2002. We dated all of 6 months, but when you know, you know. 14 months after our wedding we had Nathan, and 18 months after Nathan, we had Jacob! To say that we’re still recovering from all of that would be a slight understatement. I’m still learning how to be a better husband and father, and my wife and kids are graciously supportive as I learn the ropes.Well, as they say the rest is simply commentary. For now I’m just trying to figure out what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the everyday inbetween, and lead others to do the same.
